the parallels
characters you can associate with sengoku
Very opinionated section, if you ask me. Should you fail to agree with me that these characters aren't like Sengoku, I don't know what to tell you, haha. Seriously, I really and truly believe that the choices below have excellent similarities to Sengoku's personality. This section is purely based off PERSONALITY TRAITS and nothing more, there's not one bishounen I know out there that aesthetically looks like Sengoku. Blame the hair twirl.
MINAKO AINO/SAILOR VENUS OF BISHOJO SENSHI SAILORMOON
No, this is not out of pure bias. It's obvious that i'm a sucker for Minako but her similarity to Sengoku is so strong that even official pictures seem to mirror eachother. For instance, the ones I have provided above. They're not exactly like one another since Minako has a rather serious low self-esteem in terms of leadership, where as Sengoku doesn't have a problem with leading; but the two have more similarities than differences. The first point should be obvious (if you know both series) -- that really, really energetic, optimistic, outgoing personality. Minako was never the captain of her volleyball team, but she was the ace; as Sengoku is to Yamabuki. Both individuals are inspiring to other characters of their respective casts and affect them in a positive nature. And let's not forget about that crazy love for the opposite sex! While Sengoku's running around chasing girls, guess who's running around chasing boys (moreso than the rest of her team)? Flirts, stalkers, what have you. Another notable difference between the two is that Minako doesn't associate herself with being "lucky" or being obsessed with horoscopes, nor is she in the least bit as humble as Sengoku.
HIHARA KAZUKI OF LA CORDA D'ORO ~PRIMO PASSO~
Hihara, awww, Hihara. The precious, cheery guy from the famous La Corda dating sim and anime! Out of the 5 (6 now because of Kaji?) bishounen, he's practically the only one that displays a happy atmosphere in his passion for music-making. The rest of the bishounen? Angsty, evil, or just plain cold! I saw similarity in him and Sengoku for the simple fact that both bring both joy and amusement to their respective series! Despite the fact that both are rutheless in their desire to enjoy what they do but do well at it, both approach their ambitions with something similar in mind: Make it interesting! And they do! There are, however, alot of differences here. Moreso than Minako. Sengoku is familiar with being around girls, but Hihara isn't. Hihara doesn't waste too much time on things that don't matter with his musical career, but Sengoku seems to make free time for himself after his own tennis practice (unless he feels he needs to brush up on his tennis a little).
