with other team mates, characters

Eh, Sengoku pretty much gets along with everybody. No one is *especially* close to Sengoku as far as the canon goes, and we don't really see him indulge in deep, inter-school friendships, or even deep in-team friendships. He just seems to be uh, there? Though, many hold a really high opinion and respect for him. I don't think there's a character on the cast (besides Bobby Max) that really criticizes Sengoku in a negative way, since everyone admires how tenacious he can be with tennis.

DAN TAICHI, THE HALF-PINT MANAGER Really admires Sengoku. He can often be seen making oogly eyes at either Akutsu or Sengoku. More so Akutsu, unfortunately. In turn, I guess you could say Sengoku looks after the kid since he's a clumsy little first year. They're not seen together often, but when they are, you know it's an important scene and/or commentary. At least, when I researched it, they were.

AKUTSU JIN, THAT VIOLENT GUY Not much of anything to specify here other than they're Yamabuki's jewels. Sengoku sort of regards Akusu as "scary", and they're never shown next to eachother, or even in eachother's presence. I think Akutsu's unpleasant atmosphere is the reason why Sengoku doesn't hang around him as much.

THE OTHERS The only other few to name from the team that 'interact' with Sengoku are Minami Kentarou and Muromachi Touji. Muromachi, who is a second year, really, really admires Sengoku and holds him in high respects. Minami, the captain, is teased here and there by Sengoku, and they were shown hanging out together outside of school. The other jimmie and rest of the players? Zip, ziltch, nothing.

Some notable other people in Sengoku's world:

Momoshiro Takeshi: Can sort of be seen as Sengoku's 'rival' (but not really), since there is some payback to be done when Sengoku lost to Momo.
Echizen Ryoma: Everyone wants a piece of this kid.
Mikaya Banda "Banjii": Really looks out for Sengoku's best interests. You can tell he's very proud for having Sengoku as Yamabuki's ace.

Don't you DARE ask me where Saeki went. I'm talking about canon relationships here! :) He's somewhere else. Go find him. Shoo! (If you don't know what i'm talking about, this crack pair might jog your memory)
